  • The App may read contact information locally on your device to help you select people for your trusted circle.

  • Contacts are only stored if you explicitly add them inside the App.

  • We do not upload your entire address book.

Only the contacts you choose are stored and used.

C. Automatically Collected Information

We may collect limited technical data, such as:

  • Device type and operating system

  • IP address (via network requests)

  • Basic usage events (e.g., check-in activity)

4. How Contact Syncing Works

  • Contact selection happens on-device using your phone’s contact picker.

  • When you add a contact:

    • Only the specific selected contact details (name, phone, email) are saved.

  • Contacts are stored:

    • Locally on your device, and/or

    • Securely in our backend (Cloudflare Workers + KV storage)

We do not continuously sync or monitor your address book.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide core app functionality (check-ins and alerts)

  • Send notifications to your selected contacts

  • Improve reliability and performance

  • Maintain system security

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Third-Party Services

To operate the App, we use trusted third-party providers:

Cloudflare (Workers & KV Storage)

  • Used to process requests and store minimal app data

  • May temporarily store:

    • User identifiers

    • Contact details

    • Check-in status and schedules

Twilio (SMS & Voice Calls)

  • Used to send:

    • SMS alerts

    • Optional voice call alerts

When alerts are triggered:

  • Contact phone numbers are securely transmitted to Twilio for delivery

  • Twilio processes this data according to its own privacy practices

SendGrid (Email Delivery)

  • Used to send alert emails

  • Contact email addresses are transmitted only when alerts are triggered

Important Note on Third Parties

These services are necessary for functionality. While we choose reputable providers, we do not control their systems or guarantee delivery.

7. Data Storage & Retention

We aim to minimize data collection and storage.

We may store:

  • Your selected contacts

  • Check-in schedules and status

  • Basic account identifiers

We retain data only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the App’s functionality

  • Meet legal obligations

You may request deletion of your data at any time.

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data.

Your stored personal data will then be scheduled for permanent deletion from our systems after a short retention period. This retention period is used only to prevent accidental deletion and to support operational integrity.

Still Kickin’ is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
